Description

Kleinberg Wines at Kleinbosch Estate offers a unique package of country activities all at one location on a working farm with Nguni cattle and thoroughbred horses.  Guests can spend a day with their family or corporate group enjoying wine tasting of Kleinberg's own range of wines, cheese platters, light lunches or a range of goodies from our country pantry, coffee pot and expanding deli while their children play on our large jungle gym, hay stack and trampoline. 
Our country adventures include:   
Clay pigeon shooting - Practice your skill while enjoying the views. Our clay pigeon shooting has proved to be very popular activity as our gun master caters for all level of expertise.  Shooters will be required to sign an indemnity form.  Booking essential. R260.00 per person.
Horse riding with experienced guide- Explore 500 hectares of farmland and natural bush. Horse and tack provided. Riders will be required to sign an indemnity form. Riders must bring their own riding boots/shoes. Booking essential. R171.00 per person per hour.
Trout fishing- Cast your flies over one of 7 dams and experience what the Midlands is all about! (Catch and release only.) Must bring own fishing equipment. R171.00 per person for the day fishing – catch & release. R228.00 per kg for a trophy fish.
Wine tasting at Kleinberg Wines- A tasting of the Kleinberg range of wines which includes Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Stein, Cabernet Sauvignon, Picnic Rouge and Pinotage. Accompanied by a cheese and biscuit tray. A light lunch is also available.
Wine Tasting – R18.00 per person / Cheese & biscuit platter - R65.00 per platter 
All of the above prices are inclusive of VAT. 
Picnics can be arranged if booked in advance.  Pony rides are available for the inexperienced or very young riders.  Whilst on the farm, guests can visit the pigs, guinea fowl, chickens or even learn how cows are milked the old-fashioned way.

Directions

Take the Nottingham Road exit off of the freeway. Turn left at the top of the off-ramp towards Curry’s Post. Pass Linga Lapa on the left and Stonehaven Lodge on the right. The first road to the left is the D183, turn into this road towards Mount West. You will pass Ross Poultry and Honey Dew Dairy on the left. Continue about 600m after Honey Dew Dairy and you will find Kleinbosch Estate on the right.
