Babysitting facilities, fly fishing on 3 dams, nature walks and that special ‘country feel’ enhance your stay. Clambridge Cottages consists of 3 fully serviced and equipped self catering cottages set in the beautiful Nottingham Road. We are also about 4 km's from Michaelhouse school, which makes Clambridge the ideal accommodation for parents who do not live in the area and who wish to attend events at the school The property is completely condusive to flyfishing (inclusive, on 3 dams) boating, birding, cycling, running, walking or simply relaxing with a good book. Our largest cottage, the Green Cottage, sleeps 7 in 3 bedrooms and can easily be modified to accommodate more if required. The Red Cottage sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms and can also accommodate more if required. The Yellow Cottage sleeps 4 in a very spacious open plan bed sitting area which has a double bed, bunk and comfy lounge. Accommodation
The Green Cottage: The Green Cottage consists of 3 bedrooms. Two of these have double beds and full en-suite bathrooms while the third has a bunk and 1 single bed. This configuration can be manipulated to suit individual requirements. With stunning views from the wooden deck, over the surrounding farmlands and dams, the Green Cottage is the ideal place to revive your soul. The Red Cottage The Red Cottage has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds. There is a full interleading bathroom. Enjoy a braai or sundowners from the little red patio overlooking beautiful farmland views while the cows graze contentedly around you. This cottage enjoys an expanse of luscious green lawn ideal for a family cricket game or simply rolling around in. The Yellow Cottage The Yellow cottage is your cosy but spacious option being more suitable for two people but children can also be comfortably accommodated in the bunks. Surrounded by abundant foliage and birdlife, the yellow cottage is your ideal city getaway. Factors common to all the cottages. All 3 of the cottages are beautifully situated in a tranquil, farm environment. Our animals chickens, pigs, sheep dogs and children! roam freely in a safe, secure peace of heaven. There are no boundaries on our farm and visitors are free to explore and visit the animals as they wish. All cottages are equipped with linen, towels, braai facilities, TVs and satellite decoders. Guests should preferably bring their own DStv cards if they wish to make use of this facility. Even in summer the evenings can be chilly so the cottages are equipped with heaters and they all have magnificent fireplaces. We supply the firewood but guests should bring their own sherry. There are 3 flyfishing trout dams on the property, available to our cottage guests at no extra charge and fishing is strictly catch and release. We do have our own very friendly dogs but guests are welcome to bring their own as long asthey are well socialized and will get along with ours. Children are not only welcome at Clambridge, we love to have them. Children thrive here and mostly they dont want to leave. They love the great outdoors, the wide expanses, the animals and the wonderful farmy feeling of freedom they get from being able to run wild.
