- I stayed at the Valley Vista Lodge in Pietermaritzburg for 10 days in June 2009 while on a business trip. I was extremely satisfied by the location, accomodations and hosts. Susan and Peter went out of their way to make sure my stay was pleasant. Breakfast was satisfying and the optional dinners matched any restaurant I tried in town and were even prepared specially to cater to my tastes. The common areas and decks are nicely furnished; the views of the valley below from their hilltop is splendid; I would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone thinking of staying in this area.

Directions

On N3 take Peter Brown off Ramp. Turn left back over freeway. At circle turn left. Opposite Shell garage turn right into Hosking, then first left into Valley Vista. No 26 on right.
