DescriptionWe welcome you to 'The Ponds', a delightful privately owned country getaway, set in 50 acres of the beautiful landscape of the Midlands Meander, Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa. 'The Ponds' offers four spacious yet cosy fully equipped self catering cottages. All have open fires, jacuzzis and stunning views over dams and rolling hills. Peace and tranquility are our speciality! Puddle and Toll Cottages are in a block of converted stables so belong to the era of the main farm house. Deck and Roof, the rondavels, were built more recently and are of a very rustic style - simply furnished but with all the facilities of the cottages.

DirectionsThe Ponds is situated in the Natal Midlands and within the Midlands there is a very special area of outstanding beauty known as the Midlands Meander. To find us take the Nottingham Road off ramp off the N3. Continue down into the village of Nottingham Road. Turn right for Rosetta, go under the railway bridge then turn left towards Fort Nottingham. Continue for 11 kms. (DO NOT turn right to Fort Nottingham from this road) The road will turn to gravel and after 2 kms our turning will be on the left (first turning on the left after start of gravel road). Follow the signs to The Ponds. |
