Kingfisher is a comfortable and spacious self catering cottage nestling in the Drakensberg foothills.

Sleeping 5 people in two separate bedrooms, it makes a perfect getaway for friends and family with trout fishing on the property and golf, hiking, mountain biking and horse trails close by.

A sheltered patio overlooking the dam is a great place for a relaxing braai. Delicious home cooked meals with an Italian theme are available by prior arrangement.

Attractions - Things to do:
Hiking in the nearby Ukahlamba Drakensberg park. Flyfishing in the dam or at Kamberg and Highmoor, regarded by the pundits as one of the best still water fisheries in the country. Visit the Crane Sanctuary Day excursions to Sani Pass, Weenen game reserve, the Battlefields or the Midlands Meander Horse riding. and golf nearby.

Your host Franco is a versatile cook specialising in natural foods. Meals are available by prior arrangement. You can also purchase his delicious Parma ham and other specialities.
