(booking only), The cottages have cosy log fires for the cold Winter night, or enjoy the verandah in the Summer with a sun downer looking over the dams.We are graded 3 star, The cottages have two bedrooms a bathroom or shower room, a lounge with a fireplace, kitchen with every thing you need, dinning area and a verandah with a braai, over looking the dams. We also have the facilities to have camping/caravans with ablutions with hot water, electric points and a lovely big fire pit with plenty of wood to burn. Or just simply come up for the day and bring a picnic and enjoy the country. We have plenty to do, fishing, swimming pool, cycle routes, scenic walks, abundant birdlife, pony and horse rides, kiddies huge jungle gym, animal farm, Motorbike track, licensed bar, big screen TV (main house), buggy hire. Some of the activities are at the owners discretion. DirectionsCOMING FROM JOHANNESBURG Take the Howick/Tweedie off-ramp. Turn RIGHT to Tweedie. About three kilometers you will come to an intersection with the R103, with a Zenex petrol station on your left. Turn RIGHT towards Nottingham Road . Follow the R103 and turn left onto the Dargle Road . Follow through past the Lions River Polo Club on your right until you see our sign “Aird Country House” and “Petrus Stroom” where you turn left. From here you are on dirt road. Keep going over a small bridge until you come to a T junction then turn right. When you get to a fork in the road bear left.
