Description

Maypers is situated halfway between Hilton and Pietermaritzburg, off the R103, at Worlds View. It is at the beginning of the Midlands Meander, which is a showcase for all the arts, crafts and services offered by the talented local people.
Should you be feeling energetic, we have numerous Golf Courses on our doorstep, you can enjoy a friendly game of tennis on our court, or perhaps a leisurely walk through the surrounding woodlands.
Close by ,there is a lookout, giving panoramic views of Pietermaritzburg and the surrounding countryside, including the Queen Elizabeth Park Nature Reserve.
There are plenty of restaurants and takeaways within a short drive of Maypers, offering a wide range, for all tastes.
We are approximately 77 kms from Durban and 1 1/2 hours from the Underberg Mountains and the Sani Pass.
Maypers is a convenient location to stay for the Comrades Marathon, Duzi Canoe Race and the famous Hilton Arts Festival.

We have two non-smoking units set in a mature, one acre garden. Each unit is tastefully decorated, overlooks the garden, has its own entrance and secure parking.
Our double cottage offers a spacious bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
The family unit has two bedrooms, one double and one twin, sharing a bathroom. This unit also has a small kitchenette, comprising of a fridge, toaster, microwave, kettle, cutlery and crockery.
Both units have tea and coffee making facilities and colour televisions with local channels and MNET Movie and Sports channels.
A full English breakfast is served in the dining room of the main house between the hours of 7am and 9am. Please inform us of any dietary requirements when booking.

Rates

Lavender Cottage (double bedroom with en-suite bathroom)
- R280.00 per person per night for 2 guests.
- R380.00 per night for single occupancy.

Dove Cottage (2 bedroom unit - sleeps 4)
- R250 per person per night for 3 or 4 guests.
- R280.00 per person per night for 2 guests.
Single occupancy not available for Dove Cottage

Children under 10 years - R140.00 per night.
Children over 10 years - full rate.
All of the above rates include breakfast.
