DescriptionChambers Bed & Breakfast is situated in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.Pietermaritzburg is the administrative capital of the province and, considered a Victorian city, has some of the finest architecture of this period in the country. It is also centrally situated for daily excursions to many places of interest. For example, it is just one hour’s travel to the metropolis of Durban in the South or to the glorious Drakensberg in the North. A half hour’s travel takes you to the Midlands Meander, famous for its arts and crafts, stunning restaurants and gourmet delights. Our units are conveniently located just off the N2 and therefore provide easy access into and out of Pietermaritzburg. Situated in the heart of Scottsville, our accommodation is on the doorstep of the University of KwaZulu-Natal and its environs. Scottsville is a lively area well provided with restaurants, pubs, cinemas and shopping centres. Chambers is within walking distance of all of these amenities and also of the Golden Horse Casino. For those wishing to attend school functions, we are also close to schools such as: St. Charles, St. Johns, Maritzburg College and Pietermaritzburg Girls High School. The Maritzburg Golf Club is also conveniently close by. Our accommodation consists of five en-suite double bedrooms in a typical Victorian Maritzburg house with breakfast served daily in our airy breakfast room. .All units have safe and secure internal parking, and guests are supplied with their own remote for entry and exit purposes.
