Description

Rocamadour is a magnificent Provencal style country home in the heart of the beautiful Midlands Meander in Kwazulu-Natal. It is close to Midmar Dam and has a frontage on the Umgeni River

Close to the R103 just at the beginning of the Dargle/Impendle road where it turns into the Dargle Valley. It is close to some of the really good bits of the Meander. You hardly know we are there tucked away in our quiet corner.

We are close to some really good Country Restaurants or you can take the torch and wonder down a private path to the Country Inn next door to enjoy a pleasant meal in the pub.

Two double rooms with wonderful views are for B & B accommodation, both with ball and claw baths. A delightful guest lounge with a Queen Anne stove for chilly days and evenings with loads of reading material and DSTV.

Also has a charming self-catering unit with stunning views of farm and surrounding hills. Sleeps two, maximum three.

Set right at the beginning of the beautiful Dargle Valley just off the R103. Spend time just enjoying the tranquillity of the place or marvel at the artists in our valley.

Magnificent woodcraft, fun cow-printed mugs and cushions, hand-stitched linen, weavers making colourful carpets and throws, pottery and wrough iron to mention a few.

Take a walk down to the Umgeni River through the cow paddocks and sit on its banks just to reflect and ponder and look across to our well known mountain, iNhlosane.

Close to excellent Country Restaurants, or take a stroll down a private path to the local Country Inn. This home is a walk down memory lane, and is a unique experience.
